Wilda & Sean

Our story started on Facebook Dating in March 2023. Wilda gave Sean her Google number at first—because a little screening never hurt anybody. Thankfully, he passed and earned the real number.

On April 6, we had our first official date on the Hollywood Boardwalk: burgers at Nick’s and ice cream at Häagen-Dazs. Cookies and cream for Wilda, butter pecan for Sean. Nothing fancy—just good conversation and a connection that made us want to keep talking.

We can’t tell you exactly when we became “official.” We started dating, and we just never stopped.

For Sean, it was Wilda’s intelligence, humor, and fearlessness—and the softness and caring heart underneath it all. With her, he could let his guard down and simply be himself.

For Wilda, it was seeing how Sean loved his family and lived his faith. He didn’t just pray for her; he prayed for her daughter and every one of her siblings, by name. If you know how many siblings Wilda has, you know those were not short prayers.

Somewhere between the laughter, the prayers, and showing up for each other, we found our person.

Then, at Wilda’s 40th birthday celebration on September 20, 2025, she went looking for Sean and found him in the back of the venue—on one knee. There were tears, a very happy yes, and a birthday neither of us will ever forget.

Now we get to keep doing what brought us here: loving each other, laughing together, praying together, and being ourselves. Only this time, as husband and wife.
